50 Cent Workout Routine – Without Spending Thousands of Dollars

Filed under: Story — admin @ 8:20 am

When you look at 50 Cent you know without a doubt that the guy is physically fit. People have shoveled out thousands of dollars for gym memberships to get his body. But in truth some of the best workouts are free. There are many exercises that can be done at home without any expensive equipment. If you want to look great, have lots of energy and sleep well at night then try these exercise routines.

Here are two types that are fairly simple.

Abdominals

Abdominals are perhaps the easiest muscles to work without any sort of equipment. All you really need is the floor and your body. There are the obvious crunches and sit-ups, but these only work the upper abs. It is also important to strengthen the lower abs and obliques.

For lower abs, leg lifts are an easy thing to do. Just lay on the floor with your legs in the air perpendicular to your body, with your hands under your buttocks for stability. Slowly lower your legs as close to the ground as you can without touching it, then bring them back up to the perpendicular position.

This is also a great leg workout if you keep them straight the whole time, which forces you to flex your quadriceps. To work your obliques sit up and bring your knees into your chest, with your calves parallel to the floor. Now twist back and forth, touching both hands to the floor on the side that you are twisting toward each time. Leaning back and bringing your knees farther away from your body will make this exercise more difficult.

Arms and Legs

Arms are fairly simple to strengthen at home, because doing a variety of pushups will work different muscles in your arms. Beyond the basic pushup, there is the diamond pushup, which is more difficult than a regular one.

To do this, in the basic pushup position, bring your index fingers and thumbs together, forming the shape of a diamond. This will put more of your weight on a smaller area, forcing your muscles to work harder. To work your triceps more than your biceps, a crab pushup is ideal.

Remember the crabwalk from elementary school? Get into that position. Just in case you don’t, it is basically squatting then putting your hands behind you and your heels down, so that your arms are supporting your weight. Do the normal push up motion in this position, and soon the back of your arms will be burning. For a total arm workout that gets your shoulders too, do arm circles. You may feel silly at first but do it long enough and you will be very sore the next day.

Loose That Clutter Before You Move!

Filed under: Story — admin @ 9:21 am

When clutter gets out of control in people’s lives, most of the stuff they’re holding on to is junk of little value. Paperwork and old bills from months ago tend to get put at the back of draws and cupboards. Ornaments that were bought and now, no longer, match anything else, Clothes that no longer fit, that we hope we will get back into one day. All this clutter costs you money when you move.

All of these things take up valuable storage space, as well as clutter up work space and shelving. Another difficulty that assails people in assessing their junk is that they are forced to confront how much money they spend on things they never use. People often want to recoup some of their money by selling these unused items, but never get round to visiting a car boot sale or local antique dealer. They hold on to the junk in the belief that it will get better with age. In most cases, exactly the opposite happens.

You keep purchasing the same things over and over because you are unable to find what you need when you need it. The answer? Bin all duplicates, keeping the one in the best condition.

Charities do not want damaged or broken items – they only want items in good condition. Getting rid of bulky things and stuff that is really redundant will have a huge impact on your space.

Dispose of anything in the house that has been broken for more than 12 months. Anything that has exceeded its use-by date. All furniture that is surplus to your needs and any boxes that have not been opened since your last move.

Lots of junk, such as paper, glass, plastics and cans that have collected throughout your house, can be recycled and should be among the first to go.

If you can make the commitment to dispose of the clutter, then that’s great! However, you also have to make the commitment to change your routines and take control so as not to fall back into bad habits.

If you feel that you are now ready to let things go on a big scale, then a clutter-busting weekend can dramatically improve your living conditions. The key to success in this massive effort is good planning.

Start with the most accessible clutter hotspots in your home. If you plan to use a skip or disposal vehicle and have only limited use of it, so get rid of the largest items first. This will have the greatest impact in clearing your clutter.

Below is a list of questions that you need to ask before hand, as well as some of the items that you will need.

• Do you need a skip to remove large items?

• If so, does it require a permit or special lighting?

• Do you require a van or removals company?

• Will the council come at a specified time for large item removal?

• Do you know the hours of your local dump?

• Find out what items your local council recycles, and where and how they are collected.

• Check with your local charities to see what items they are able to accept. (Some will collect furniture and other bulky items.)

• Make a list of local antique dealers who will value any hidden treasures.

• Find out where and when your local car boot sale is held. Don’t forget to ask whether it is cancelled in inclement weather. What you need on the day

• Strong boxes with lids (You always need far more than you think).

• Newspaper or packing paper for wrapping breakables.

• Rubbish bags.

• Sticky labels and marker pens.

• Tags to identify contents and disposal method.

To make your clutter-busting weekend a memorable experience, gather together all the people you can count on to help – friends and family – the more the merrier.

View the experience as moving out of your old life and into the new. If the clutter or problem areas are really horrendous, call in a removals crew to help you let it go.

If the thought of clearing a large area over a weekend overwhelms you, then develop your own tailor-made programme using the same planning principles and tools as required for the clutter-busting weekend, but plan it in smaller segments so that you can do it bit by bit.

Choose an area that you feel ready to deal with. This can be something such as photographs or CDs, or a scary space, such as an airing cupboard. Set aside several hours of uninterrupted time to focus your attention on reducing your clutter by 50 per cent. Don’t stop until you have reached that target. If you feel ready to clear the entire area, it will energize you to start the next project.

For the two weeks after you have reduced the clutter in an area, become aware of how the space now feels. Pay attention to whether you begin to collect clutter in the same places. If you do, repeat the procedure and try to reduce the clutter again. Cluttered areas are often blanked out and become invisible. To break that pattern, you need to remind yourself of the situation on a daily basis. A good way to do this is with positive affirmation. This takes the form of a giant note that you put somewhere you can see every day – For example, ‘My wardrobe is tidy’ will immediately draw your attention to the condition of your wardrobe.

The most important thing is to get your brain thinking about all possible solutions, without judging whether they are good or bad solutions. Not being able to solve a problem immediately can make some people stop thinking at all about ways to solve it. This is the most common reason that junk becomes invisible.

It is unhealthy to hold on to the old, stale energy, emotions and physical reminders of things that happened in the past. They prevent you from living in the present, promote low self-esteem and can cause health problems on the physical level.

If you find it difficult to let go of certain areas of your clutter because of emotional attachments, you should try to quieten the mind and focus your attention. In this way you can get to the root of the problem and learn the necessary lessons to let go of the physical and emotional clutter.

As you begin to shed your clutter, you must work very hard to change the habits that you may have fallen into over many years. It is not always possible to change these habits overnight, but with small daily checks you can make it much easier.

The thing is that, not only is clutter the bug-bear of our houses, it also costs us more than we think. Moving house is a great time to reduce the things that we don’t need. However, no matter the good intentions, many people either don’t plan enough and end up not having the time to be able to de-clutter or end up moving it all with them, because they don’t think about it before it is too late.

Did you know that you can reduce the cost of your removal substantially by de-cluttering before the move? In many cases, this could even be as much as 25% – 30% of the cost. If the removal company is packing for you, they will not know the difference between your junk and your valuable items, so not only will they pack it into a box, but they will also move it to your new home. So if you want to keep the cost of your move down, then make sure that you have sorted out the junk before they arrive and have disposed of it at the appropriate places. Depending on which company you use, they may even be able to dispose of it for you…

So if you know that you need to do something about your clutter, but do not have the time or patience yourself, then it might be an idea to hire either a cleaner who can help you or a house clearance company. Both of these can be found in your local paper or in the Yellow Pages or you can find Professional De-Clutterers online.

Remember, Removal Companies charge you by how much stuff you have and therefore how much they have to move.

So if you are moving home or office, this is always the best time to have a good spring clean and make sure you don’t get charged more than you need to.

Getting the Best Last Minute Cruise Deals Onboard a Cruise

Filed under: Story — admin @ 9:21 am

Last minute cruise deals are offered to the public because a cruise line wishes to fill its ships to the maximum capacity, therefore, justifying the cost of the cruise. These deals can be found during an off peak season when there will be undoubtedly less passengers wishing to travel and many companies will publish enticing offers to encourage more people to travel. Many of the cruise lines make a practice of offering last minute deals and are well worth looking out for as they not allow you to experience the vacation of a lifetime but can save you a great deal of money which is always welcome.

One particular advantage to last minute deals is that there is always the possibility of obtaining an upgrade to superior accommodation depending on the ship’s occupancy, and best of all it doesn’t cost any extra. The internal cabins on a ship are less expensive to a balconied suite because they do not have windows. If suites are available you may be able to book this type of accommodation for the same price as a less expensive cabin if you are taking up the offer of a last minute deal. The best way to take advantage of this type of deal is to simply ask if they are available.

A cruise ship will always leave port catered and fuelled to provide for 100 per cent occupancy. In the event that the ship is not filled to maximum capacity and sails with only 50 percent occupancy the cruise line will lose money because of the excess fuel and obviously much of the catering and perishables will need to be dispensed with, and will ultimately cost the cruise line unsustainable costs. It, therefore, makes sense for cruise lines to offer last minute deals if they find that they are in this situation.

By calling the cruise line directly you will be able to find out if they have any available last minute deals and always ask about the possibility of upgrades. If the cruise line is eager to achieve full occupancy on a particular cruise, they will be amenable to all kinds of deals including free excursions for example. If you are approaching the date when the cruise will be departing and the full occupancy hasn’t yet been achieved by the cruise line, you will be in a great position and may end up with a fantastic deal.

Last minute deals with southern Caribbean cruise lines can create the perfect opportunity for you to finally take the family cruise vacation you have always dreamed of even when the economy is a little shaky.

Essential Guide to Buying Fitted Furniture

Filed under: Story — admin @ 9:20 am

However spacious your home, creating perfect storage systems for tvs, media centres, computers and an ever-growing collection of possessions is a challenge. A cluster of shelving units and free-standing cupboards will serve the purpose, but there is nothing to beat furniture designed specifically for your possessions, in an allocated space. Fitted furniture will make the most of the space and is ideal for awkward corners, such as alcoves, eaves and rooms too small for standard fittings. Bespoke companies can also produce sleek, cohesive design and offer internal storage solutions, such as revolving trouser rails, pull-out shoe racks and specialist forms of storage, to get even the most extreme hoarder organised.

WHY CHOOSE A SPECIALIST DESIGN?

There is a good choice of specialist companies, from wardrobe and home office suppliers who fit modular pieces to your specification to truly bespoke companies, and this is reflected in the price. Personal recommendation is often the best way to find your supplier but, in the absence of that, don’t be afraid to grill the showroom staff on the products and services a company offers. Find out whether the furniture is made in the company’s own workshops or assembled from components, as this will affect design flexibility.

Truly bespoke

You can ask to visit the workshop to see the quality of build and check the sometimes loose interpretation of “bespoke”. Penny Coaker at Aldenham outlines what it should mean: “A bespoke company can design furniture to any size and work around odd shapes. Look for the designer who can make any size of cup-board and cope with unusual spaces or dimensions.”

Solutions for your home

A good specialist company will send a designer to your home to assess both your lifestyle and your specific storage needs. Be honest if you are untidy, as the more information they have, the better the resulting design will be. If you don’t feel you have a good rapport with the designer before the work begins, go elsewhere. Ask a lot of questions at this point, including the proposed starting date and what happens if something goes wrong.

Approving a design

The designer will produce initial drawings for your approval, and should show you different materials; final scale drawings will follow once the details are agreed. You may have to pay for those, but this should be refunded if the project goes ahead. Ask about lead times too.

Commission a Professional

If you have a small, straightforward project or feel confident about your own design abilities, you may want to entrust your scheme to a local carpenter, or put together your own team of professionals.

Independent designers offer one-off designs and total flexibility, while a carpenter is likely to look to you for the specification. As joiners rarely have showrooms, it is important to see a portfolio of their work or some of their installations first. Personal recommendation is very valuable; in its absence, trade associations can help.

Creating a brief

Put together as detailed a brief as possible, with pictures from magazines or the internet and samples of materials you like. Ask questions, such as whether the furniture is made of solid wood or veneered, and keep an open mind about the craftsperson’s ideas as well.

Agreeing terms

Make sure that you are absolutely clear about payment terms, such as when the deposit is needed, how much it is – typically between 30 and 50 per cent of the total price – and when the balance is paid. Never pay in full upfront. Ask for a breakdown of materials and labour, and make sure you get all the payment details, together with the schedule, in writing.

Key Points To Consider in Dressing Rooms

Keep clothes, shoes and accessories in order. Rails at varying heights use the space best: full-length for dresses, half-length for shirts and trousers. Opt for plenty of drawers, with a secure unit for jewellery, and space for shoes. A walkway width of at least 1m will allow for the opening of drawers and the selection of clothes in comfort. Opt for his and her sides with your own mirrors, if space permits.

Key Points to Consider in Bedrooms

Fitted furniture makes the best use of space regardless of the size of the room. A bank of wardrobes frees up the remainder of the room for more decorative pieces. For a sleek look, hide some of the drawer units behind full-length doors. The entrance to an en-suite bathroom can be designed to blend in with wardrobe doors on either side. Fitted furniture is a safe option for children’s rooms, where free-standing units can topple

Key Points To Consider In Home Offices

Almost any corner can be transformed into a work space. Have the desk made to suit your height. Use your books and storage files to gauge space between shelves. A bespoke office within a living room can be designed to match your existing furniture. Cupboards with doors will keep paperwork out of sight. Or opt for a screen or door that hides the whole office from view when not in use.

Key Points To Consider In Living Rooms

Combine display and storage with a striking designer arrangement. First, place key items such as the TV and fireplace at the desired height. Have a clear idea about how many CDs and books are to be stored. A combination of closed units and open shelving boosts storage and keeps the look neat.

Britons Driving Abroad Advised to Take Precautions

Filed under: Story — admin @ 9:24 am

UK motorists thinking about driving their cars abroad should exercise caution before driving off. Such is the assertion of Sainsbury’s Car Insurance which reports that unless drivers take steps to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover before going on a foreign driving holiday then they could be faced with costly repair bills. According to the company, just under a fifth (17 per cent) of holidaymakers are planning on taking their car abroad during the next year. Overall, France was highlighted as being the most popular destination for an overseas driving holiday, with some 4.58 million drivers planning to take their cars to the European country over the next year. However, 1.89 million are set to visit Ireland, with 1.7 million going on a trip to Germany. Spain, Italy and Belgium were also considered to be sought-after locations for motorists.

Also, it would appear that people are looking towards a comprehensive journey, with about 50 per cent of all those going abroad predicting they will drive for more than 1,000 miles while away, meanwhile 19 per cent are predicting to drive between 501 and 1,000 miles.

However, prior to hitting the road for Paris, Rome, Berlin or any other Destination in Europe, Sainsbury’s Car Insurance not only advised motorists to get fully comprehensive car insurance but also to get in contact with their provider to advise them of their holiday driving plans before they leave. It would appear that although many insurers provide cover for driving on the continent, policyholders are required to notify them that they are going to do this. If this is not done, Sainsbury’s said drivers may well see their cover downgraded to only incorporate third party, fire and theft.

For those people who fail to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover whilst on their holiday abroad it may be possible they have to dip into their own pockets in order to meet the cost of vehicle repairs following a breakdown, accident or theft. This could easily impact on their ability to manage loans, credit cards and mortgage repayments upon their return to Britain.

To lower their chances of getting into difficulties whilst abroad, the company urged motorists to plan their route carefully and to check the motoring laws for the countries that they will be going through. Additionally, checking tyre pressure and brake fluid levels before departing was also recommended.

Joanne Mallon, in charge of car insurance for Sainsbury’s, reported: “When going on holiday, most people will remember to take travel insurance but we are concerned that some motorists are overlooking the need to ensure that their car journey is fully covered. Having an accident anywhere is bad enough but when abroad it can be compounded by a lack of local knowledge; to then find that the other party’s damage is covered, but not your own, is surely a blow worth avoiding.”

Those who are looking for an effective way to finance a holiday may well find that obtaining a personal loan is a good course of action. And for those looking to buy a car to take to the road for an adventure holiday abroad, a cheap loan may not only help with purchasing a vehicle but also help fund an adequate comprehensive insurance policy. Getting a loan for the means of getting a car could also be recommended, as a recent Experian study showed 20 per cent of males would go overdrawn in order to get a set of wheels.

The Drop of New Home Loans Being Offered Sees Thousand Opt to Re-Mortgage

Filed under: Story — admin @ 9:24 am

The British Bankers Association has revealed that the number of mortgages being offered by large high street banks has fallen by 39 per cent.

A total of 38,704 new loans for buying a home were approved by major banks in April 2008, compared to about 65,000 being agreed to in April 2007.

The drop in numbers is thought to be as a result of thousands of mortgage deals being withdrawn by banks and building societies and tighter restrictions on loans being offered to new home buyers.

The decline in home purchase loans was offset by a rise in the number of people re-mortgaging their homes. Official figures from the British Bankers Association (BBA) revealed that almost 75,000 home buyers re-mortgaged in April 2008, a rise of 10.7 per cent compared to the same month in 2007.

The majority of the people who re-mortgaged were those coming to the end of a cheap fixed rate deal or discount mortgage, and have been left in a position where they have been forced to move to an arrangement carrying higher monthly repayments. Higher petrol, food, utility and other essential bills have also helped to compound the problem.

Fears have been raised that the high street banks decision to slash the number of home purchase loans will force the property market and the economy in general into a major downturn.

In an attempt to ease the lending cuts, the Bank of England poured £50 billion into the banking sector by swapping UK mortgage loans for gold plated Government bonds which can be used as collateral to raise money to fund financial products such as mortgages.

Despite the move being backed by Alistair Darling, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, on the basis that banks would begin to relax the strict lending policy, figures suggest that the financial institutes are simply looking after their profits rather than supporting the Bank of England and the Government’s scheme.

With British banks losing billions of pounds due to the wild lending in the US housing market, sparking the global credit crunch, British consumers are now paying the price through increased mortgage rates and fewer new home loan initiatives.

Global Insight chief economist, Howard Archer, said that house buying in the UK remained under severe pressure from a ‘damaging combination’ of tighter lending conditions and stretched affordability.

Archer warned that it seemed ‘certain’ that house prices would continue to fall as potential home buyers are left in limbo due to low wage rises and a lack of confidence in property prices. He said, “It is looking highly possible that house prices will suffer double digit falls both this year and in 2009, given serious buyer affordability constraints, limited and often more expensive mortgages available due to ongoing tight lending conditions, a deteriorating economic outlook and reduced prospects for further interest rate cuts in the near term at least.”

Statistics director for the British Bankers Association, David Dooks said, “Pressures on household finances, stalling house prices and tighter lending criteria in response to lower liquidity are all constraining demand for house purchase and equity withdrawal loans, which are both well down on levels last year. In contrast, there is an active re-mortgaging market as people switch lenders to obtain better deals.

Make Money Off The Internet Using Nothing But Articles

Filed under: Story — admin @ 9:24 am

If you’re reading this, there is no doubt you’re looking to make money off the internet. Maybe you’ve been reading about Bum Marketing and you’re doing some extra research or maybe you like to write articles and are looking for a way to cash in on them. Either way, you’ve stumbled upon one of the most important articles you will ever read about making money off the internet.

Bum marketing, also called article marketing, is a great concept and has helped many people make money off the internet. It is basic, very simple internet marketing that anyone can implement quickly to earn extra money. In a nutshell, all you need to do is find an affiliate product that you want to promote, gather some pertinent keywords related to your product or niche, write articles and submit them to directories to drive internet traffic to your designated web site.

Fast, simple, free.

While the process is simple and works like magic, there are some problems with the concept for some folks. Not everyone wants to write articles. Some people don’t have the time to write articles. And still other people don’t think they are capable of writing articles.

To these people, making money off the internet using articles may not seem like such a great idea. It might even seem far fetched.

Fact is, though, there are very simple solutions to even those obstacles which will have you pulling down some cash in no time flat.

If you don’t want to write articles or feel you don’t have the time to write articles, you can hire someone to write them for you for a just few dollars per article. You can find ghostwriters at places like Elance and Craig’s list or by doing a quick search on Google.

If you’re feeling a little skiddish about writing your own articles, I’ll let you in on a little secret. Everyone has felt the same way. You’re not alone. We all feel nervous and have doubts about our abilities. And I’ll let you in on another secret; it’s not nearly as hard as you think it is. And guess what else? If you do take the plunge, you’ll be light years ahead of the folks who hire someone to write for them. Really.

Here’s 4 solid tips you can use right now to help you write your own effective articles to help you make money off the internet:

Use correct grammar, make it easy to read, make it interesting and be informative.

This is ultra simple. Use the spell check and grammar check function on your computer for the first part of the equation, write at a sixth grade level (nothing fancy) to make it easy to read and provide information people want in a conversational style instead of boring text book style and you’ve got the winning recipe.

It’s that easy. It is. If I can do it (and if you reading this, obviously I am) so can you.

Okay, let’s move on to the good stuff now that we’ve eliminated any concerns over how to use articles to make money off the internet.

As I mentioned a minute ago we can use Article Marketing/Bum Marketing to generate some affiliate sales (see bummarketingmethod.com for details if you are not familiar with article marketing for a free in-depth report on this) to make some extra cash but that is certainly not the only way.

If you are going to write your own articles, which I hope you will decide to do after reading this article, the sky is the limit. Here’s some quick ways to earn some money on the internet fast.

The first thing we want to do is submit our articles to a article directory site such as AssociatedContent.com. Associated Content will pay you anywhere from $3 to $20 per article you submit that they accept. Submit ten articles per month and you’ll immediately earn $30 to $200 bucks. Submit 50 articles per month and you’ll earn $150 to $1000 per month.

That’s easy money. And that’s only the beginning.

Rewrite those same articles and then submit them to a place like EzineArticles.com and you can drive massive traffic to one of your blogs or sites to make affiliate commissions with the method we just described above. That’s more cash in your pocket for just a little bit of extra work.

Step three is to take those articles you wrote (or hired someone to write for you) and combine them into your own report or ebook and make even more money.

This is exactly how the gurus pull in massive amounts of cash!

Write (or buy) articles and submit them to sites like Associated Content to earn instant cash ($3 – $20 per article). Then spend a few minutes rewriting those articles and submit them to sites like EzineArticles to drive traffic and make money from affiliate sales. Then take your articles and combine them into your own $47 report and make even more money.

It works like a charm… every time… for everyone. It’s that simple.

Follow the above formula and you too will easily make money off internet using nothing but articles. It’s fast, simple and free
