How To Play Acoustic Guitar

Filed under: Story — admin @ 4:47 pm

If you want to learn how to play acoustic guitar there are some things that you need to know right from the start. Believe me when I say that they will save you a great deal of frustration.

Here are some great tips that should help:

1# Because you will need to practice often (and sometimes you wont want to)-, playing along to a favorite song can be a great motivator. Even if you are a raw beginner you will be surprised at how many songs you can play along to.

“Google” your favorite song and see if there’s a result that offers chord charts for them. Study the charts to find a song you know that has a simple chord progression, these will be chords that you can already play or would like to learn. Download the chord charts and start practicing. You’ll be amazed at how good you will feel when you are playing along to your well loved songs.

2# Make sure that your guitar is tuned properly. You may not believe this but I’ve met people who wanted to know how to play acoustic guitar that didn’t know that each string on a guitar had to be tuned to a specific pith!. It’s not a case of getting the tuning nearly right either, you need to get it “spot on” why? because you will judge your playing by the way you sound and if just one string is slightly of pitch, your “sound” wont be as good as you would like or indeed would have been had your guitar been in tune.

To make sure your guitar is in tune you can use a set of inexpensive pitch pipes. Learn to tune from string to string. Use an electronic guitar tuner or tune from a piano or another guitar. To save room in this article I wont go into detail but you can find some excellent information here:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Guitar/Setting_up_the_Guitar

3# Decide on what type of pick (plectrum)you want to use. This is one of the most overlooked pieces of equipment. Picks come in various gauges. A very thin pick will give a much softer sound than a thick one so try experimenting and choose the pick that achieves the sound you want. Some guitarist wear a pick on there thumb and some guitarists just use their fingers. It’s all a matter of choice and something you do need to be aware of.

4# Now you’ll have to excuse me here as I’m going to use a word that some people find quite upsetting. Are you ready? The word is “practice”. I’m sorry but it just had to be said. Of course, we all promise we will practice but there’s always a good film on or the big game just about to start and a hundred other excuses. I’m no different, so here my suggestion.

Don’t promise yourself that you will practice for an hour every day. Make that a promise of twenty minutes everyday. Little and often is best I find. Have your guitar and chord books or tabs to hand if you’re watching TV, that way you can have five minutes practice during the commercial break (and sometimes longer). I find that this works really well as it’s sort of unplanned (and far more enjoyable than most of the commercials).

I hope that these tips will help you on your way to becoming a great guitarist.

Practice, Practice, Practice. That’s how to play acoustic guitar.

Play On.

The Beatles’ Revolver – A Revolution in 1966

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:36 am

The Context

It was August of 1966. Only 2 and a half years since The Beatles first broke onto the scene in the United States with “I Want To Hold Your Hand” and the accompanying hysteria (“Beatlemania.”) Since then The Beatles music had quickly been evolving from their earlier pop rock into a more sophisticated art rock.

Rubber Soul

Their most recent album was Rubber Soul which had been released in December of ’65. While these days just 8 months between album releases is a short time, in those days it was considered a reasonably long time to wait for the biggest band in the world to release their next album. Rubber Soul was itself a major step forward from the album before that (Help!) It included the first use of the Indian instrument the sitar on a pop record (“Norwegian Wood’) and it also featured more introspective lyrics (such as on “Nowhere Man” & “In My Life”) than were generally heard on their earlier albums.

Revolver

While Rubber Soul was a big step forward, Revolver was a leap forward sonically. The most forward looking track was of course the album closer, “Tomorrow Never Knows” which still sounds like the future 42 years later. I’ll look at that track more in depth at the end of this article.

While Rubber Soul had “Norwegian Wood” which had some sitar on it, Revolver’s “Love You To” was something else entirely. This George Harrison song based entirely on Indian instruments that sounded totally unlike anything pop music listeners of the time had ever heard before. In fact I bet it sounds totally unlike anything most pop music listeners of today have ever heard too (unless of course they’ve listened to Revolver or Sgt Pepper.) “Love You To” definitely expanded the horizons for what a pop record could sound like. But it was far from alone in that regard on this album.

“Eleanor Rigby” featured a string quartet and Paul McCartney’s voice. With it’s poetic lyrics and unique arrangement, it still stands as a classic in popular music today.

“Yellow Submarine” is a childlike song written by Paul McCartney and sung by Ringo Starr that went on to inspire the cartoon feature of the same name released in 1968. It’s really quite a weird song, isn’t it? This was a great example of The Beatles just completely ignoring any rules for what kind of songs should be on a popular music album.

“I’m Only Sleeping” features George Harrison’s backwards guitar. I’m not sure if this is the first pop song to include backwards guitar, but it is probably one of the first. Harrison learned to play the desired melody backwards so that when reversed it would fit in properly with the song. Just another example of The Beatles pushing the envelope in the studio with their arrangements.

“Tomorrow Never Knows”

While there are many amazing breakthroughs on this album, it’s been said that every song on the album inspired a new sub genre of rock music, it’s “Tomorrow Never Knows” that really stands out as a ground breaking song. Amazingly enough this was the first song recorded for the album (in April of 1966, John Lennon wrote it in January of ’66.)

Everything about this song from it’s lyrics to it’s song writing to it’s arrangement to it’s production was very experimental. The vocals were put through a Leslie speaker to obtain a vibrato effect. This was the first time such an effect was used. The lyrics were based on The Psychedelic Experience by Timothy Leary (and that book was based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead.) The song featured very inventive use of tape loops, reverse drums, reverse guitar, and many more sonic explorations. Another unusual fact about the song is that the song is almost entirely played on just one chord. This was probably greatly influenced by Indian music which is often played in such a way.

Watch Soccer Online

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:31 pm

Want to watch soccer online? Euro 2008 has brought new opportunities for creative minds in the domain of online soccer watching. There are nowadays many opportunities for watching football videos via the streaming system. They are free and classified according to the topic. There are sections with advertisements for players, reports, extracts from football matches in streaming. Soccer videos online feature football players like Ronaldo, Zidane, Henry or any other football player you admire. You can also see excerpts and summaries of the biggest football matches and to search for videos of football streaming through internal search engines.

Euro 2008 will materialize convergence of traffic and data, voice and video, into a single network. This will lead to a complexity of IP networks and a performance problem for many businesses that can not control wild downloads of video … The networks must be secure and optimized to ensure the availability of resources.

Should this warning be taken seriously? Definitely not! IT systems have evolved since users have 4, 8 or even 16 Mb / s or more bandwidth Internet, available only for them alone at home. It is more desirable to surf comfortably at home and even watch TV on your PC, rather than at the office. The internet in an office is rather reserved for ad hoc research (routes, timetables, online banks) multiple but short lasting searches. The real soccer addicts have already planned mini-TV, portable tuners TNT on laptops, even broadcasts on the 3G mobile. Others prefer the comfort of a large screen at coffee shops or at home.

Diet To Go Service Review – Why Moms Like Diet Delivery Plans

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:27 am

Moms love diet delivery plans. Why? Because moms have enough to worry about without counting calories, carbs or points!

A few years back, I was reading and article about a celebrity mom who easily got back to her pre-pregnancy size and was saying how easy it was. However, the article also told us that all of her meals were brought in pre-made to the exact diet she needed to stay healthy and still take off the weight. I remember thinking to myself that if I had a personal chef it would be easy for me too.

Now a company called Diet to Go claims that it has brought these options to the rest of the moms in the world without the big Hollywood price tag. They deliver healthy meals directly to their client’s homes in a cooler that they provide. That is right…you can say goodbye to counting calories, carbs or points!

It is all too easy for Moms to eat whatever is left after the kids eat, settle for the burnt chicken nuggets that the kids left or to eat whatever appeals to their kids. Instead, Diet to Go allows you to go ahead and make whatever your family wants and eat with them, but you just enjoy the fresh healthy food already prepared for you. After all, your kids have a personal chef (you!) so why shouldn’t you?

But will it help you the weight that you want? The answer really depends on you.

If you can stick to their meal plan and the food provided, it works quite well. By just eating the food that is delivered fresh to you, most people will be able to lose an average of about 2-3 pounds a week. They allow you to pick from the menu, so most people can easily find food that is appealing.

However, if your family is like ours, you will still be tempted by the snacks and other foods in the house and you will need the willpower to avoid those.

So if you are not ready to make a commitment a weight loss plan and eating the food provided, don’t waste your money. On the other hand, if you want to have really good food and are ready to stick to it, you may have that celebrity body before summer.

Monica Cameron writes products reviews for several online publications and ezines. For more information about the Diet to Go plan, see http://www.diet-to-go-review.com

The Fine Art Of Aesthetic Dentistry

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:22 pm

Thank God for aesthetic dentistry. Hey, am I right here or am I right? I think there are individuals around the globe who are incredibly pleased regarding our new-age aesthetic dentistry. After all, it seems like most individuals are not born with straight or perfect teeth. In all honesty, I’ve always found this notion to be seriously odd.

I mean think about this for a moment. We’re all born with certain limbs, organs, and attributes; why is it that our teeth don’t come in straight very often? This is bizarre. Our arms come on okay; our eyes aren’t crooked or backwards; our fingers are proportional. What is the deal with our choppers? They should come in straight and perfect. Crooked teeth that demand assistance should be abnormal. Well, that’s my opinion anyway.

Are you in need of some aesthetic dentistry? Hey, if you are, you’re definitely not alone in this. Take a quick look around. You’ll surely see quite a few individuals sporting braces on their teeth. Or you’ll spot quite a few people who need braces or aesthetic dentistry. This is plain and simply a burden that we humans have to deal with. I’m not going to lie, but I’ve never had to have braces or aesthetic dentistry. I was indeed one of the lucky ones.

I got down on my knees and thanked God as a child when I found out that I wouldn’t need braces. This was utterly great news. My two brothers both ended up having to get braces. That’s a bummer. However, I do see the pangs of braces and aesthetic dentistry. My daughters all require braces and it costs a fortune. It’s funny because my wife’s teeth were also perfectly straight. What is causing all these children to need braces?

The art of aesthetic dentistry has really evolved since back in the day. Even over the last decade there have been numerous improvements to the field. The truth is if you need braces or some sort of aesthetic dentistry, you should take care of it as soon as you can. This is the way to go. The last thing you want is to be dealing with this when you’re 45 years old. Hop on the web and check into all the latest and greatest aesthetic dentistry that can benefit you and your smile. Have that amazing set of choppers you’ve always wanted.

Are You Living the High Life Without the High Income?

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:17 am

Financial Powerhouse Suze Orman did an interesting show on Oprah recently. It was entitled “Can You Afford That?” and was discussing whether into today’s current economic climate people could afford various items like a new home, new car, dream vacation or simply being a stay at home mom.

By the end of the show, the picture was clear. Many people are living way beyond their means and are trying to live the high life whether they have the income or not. Everybody’s keeping up with the Jones’ buying the latest fashions and accessories, gadgets, full-loaded cars and top of the range homes. More people seem to have and are buying luxury goods on a daily basis than ever before. Items that were once only available and affordable to celebrities and millionaires are now available in malls all over the world and are being purchased by people with incomes that nowhere near match that of a celebrity or millionaire!

It seems more and more people have multiple loans and multiple credit cards being used to purchase things they want but don’t really need and certainly can’t afford. Unfortunately, statistics only confirm this. Dave Ramsey, in his book “The Total Money Makeover” reveals that 49% of Americans could cover LESS that 1 month’s worth of expenses if they were to suddenly lose they’re income. Yet these are the same people who are drawing the equity from their homes to purchase a second car, home renovations or a dream holiday. Any of this sounding familiar? If this is you, you may want to stop reading now, because it gets worse.

This financial irresponsibility doesn’t seem to be hitting home until people are looking to retire. In fact, 80% of Americans believe their standard of living will increase when they retire. However, the USA Today reports that out of 100 people aged 65, 97 of them can’t write a cheque for $600, 54 are still working and only 3 are financially secure. So out of every 100 people reading this article, only three of you are smiling!

Now is most certainly the time to make a change. Financial check-ups are needed in homes across the nations. The global economy is in a nosedive and taking our optimism with it. “Tightening your belt” is no longer applicable. You need a RADICAL transformation on how you live your life.

Things won’t automatically be okay. You have to make them okay. You are in charge of your finances and your future.

The good news is that it’s not too late. How do I know? Because I believe it’s never too late. Whether you are desperately trying to pay off your student loans, your car payments, that house you can’t afford, or any other mountain of debt, you can still make the changes required of you. Perhaps you need to assess your income. You may need an additional job, or a new job altogether. You may need to sell the precious car or downsize your home but you can make it work! You NEED to make it work!

Get moving today! Sit down for an hour (or 6…) and assess where you are at financially – no matter how bad it is! You have options – plenty of them. It may be just a matter of finding them. And be positive! Optimism is a powerful tool!

Whatever you do, don’t try to keep up with the Jones’. Chances are, they’re broke!

How I’ll Save a Thousand Pounds by Going to Work on an Electric Scooter

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:12 pm

It was the price of fuel that did it. It went up so much recently that I, a staunch car owner, had to think twice. It seemed like I needed a mortgage each time I went to the pumps. I knew that something had to give. So, impulsively, I bought an electric scooter. Now, I’m in the money.

I am not the most financially aware person. I rarely check my bank or credit card statements. And when I fetch the groceries I have no idea whether the price of potatoes has gone up, down or sideways. It takes a cataclysmic change in price to make me sit up and notice.

I live in London. It’s expensive. It’s the price you pay for living in a capital city. If prices are going up they will go up here first. We were the first city in the U.K. to get a congestion charge. Basically, when you want to travel by car into central London you have to pay £8 ($14) every time. This was the first event that made me think about my travel routines. I decided not to use the car to go into work.

The beauty of being in and around London is that there’s usually a travel alternative. Unusually, I don’t live near a tube line. But I’m ten minutes walk from a train station. So I decided to take the train.

But then the train prices went up. Apparently it’s the cost of upgrading the state of the lines. The reality of my day, though, was seeing more and more people being packed into fewer carriages. Most days, during peak periods, I was standing up, my nose crammed into somebody’s armpit. I was paying a premium price for being herded like cattle. After traveling in those conditions you’re in no state to do a proper days work. It makes you cranky and tired.

Enough was enough. But what else could I do? I was watching a TV show in which the celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, was riding to his restaurant on a scooter. Hmm. Interesting, I thought. But, like most car owners, I’d always had a mistrust of two wheeled machines. But it’s not a motorcycle, I thought. I won’t fast enough to do myself damage.

So I did my research and discovered that nowadays you can buy electric scooters. They are as powerful as their fuel-driven counterparts and cost a few pence per mile to run. So I bought one.

And I’ve never regretted it. They make going to work fun. I’ve not even come close to falling off. And I’m saving a packet. I estimated how much I’m going to save in the coming year. Here’s what I came up with, including insurance, tax (you don’t need any with an electric scooter) and fuel.

Mix and Match Your John Deere Cowboy Boots

Filed under: Story — admin @ 7:03 pm

John Deere boots are one of the most recognized cowboy boots in the United States . These boots have become synonymous to quality ever since the first boot rolled out in 1837. The firm that makes these boots, Dan Post Boot Company, makes sure that this legacy continues; to do so, they use only the finest materials, the newest techniques, and the strictest quality tests.

The company offers a large variety of boots-premium leather boots, safety and non-safety toe boots, waterproof boots, and others. The reliability and durability of these John Deere make them popular choices as work boots. Indeed, ranchers wear them when they wash their horses, plow their fields, clean their barns, or do any other farm work.

Aside from the usual cowboy boots, the company also offers product lines that are specific for heavy or dangerous industries such as logging or mining.

If you own a pair of John Deere boots , you should realize that you have one of the best boots in the country. To get the most of your boot, you have to wear them proudly, and you have to know the so-called rules to maximize their unique look.

Mixing Footwear and Clothing

1) Skirts – Boots from John Deere are perfect matches for skirts. Be it miniskirts, knee-length skirts, long skirts, skirts that flow-these boots can compliment them all!

2) Long dresses – Just like skirts, long dresses can be paired with these boots. In fact, a popular star, Jessica Simpson, even wore a pastel-colored calf-length dress with brown cowboy boots! Although it works well for her, it is usually better to pair the boots with darker-colored dresses.

3) Jeans – Denim jeans were originally made for cowboys, the tough, durable cloth being able to suit their needs. Since boots are also associated with cowboys, then jeans and cowboy boots match really well.

These boots can be worn with shafts tucked into the jeans. Some people, so that the entirety of the boots can be seen, tuck the bottom of the jeans into the boot. Boots from John Deere can go very well together with blue jeans, be it light washed or dark. Depending on the style and color of the boots you have, they may or may not match jeans that are black or any other color.

4) Shorts – Short jean shorts can match up very nicely with John Deere long-shaft cowboy boots. Women with these get-up usually look very sexy and provocative.

5) Work clothes – Do not wear these boots with your work clothes unless if you are a rancher. It is very unprofessional to look if you are wearing a doctor’s white coat or a three-piece suit.

6) Fitting shirts and tight jeans – Pairing these with these cowboy boots are a no-no unless if you want to look like Howdy-Doody. Loose-fit jeans and shirts are better.

7) Tuxedos – Surprisingly, many men think that it is cool to wear and show their John Deere boots together with their tuxedos on special occasions. No way. The dress calls for very formal footwear, and these boots, no matter how good they look, are just inappropriate and disrespectful.

The right clothes can compliment your boots and vice versa. For more tips and information about John Deere Boots, check out http://www.rockytopleather.com.

2008′s Wedding Trends

Filed under: Story — admin @ 6:58 am

From the time we were still “little princesses” up to the time we became grown-ups, society has infuse the importance of fashion, trend, glamour, and yes, including the significance of wedding. From fairy tales, to knight in shining armor, to feel good romantic movies and all, women especially, always dream & long for a very special, memorable wedding.

Wedding is such a special occasion that everybody- the couples, their families, friends, wedding planners, etc always take personal affection and details to ensure perfection.

Now, “brides want anything but boring this year”, says Carley Roney, editor-in-chief of the Knot magazine- a leading wedding guide to everything bridal. “Couples are going to new lengths to infuse their personalities into their big day.” Creativity is a major factor in wedding preparations for 2008.

I bet you are excited to know this year’s trends! Well, here they are:

The social network wedding- The new millennium proves a high tech society where internet dating is rampant and proposal videos are posted and viewed on famous social networking websites such as You Tube, Facebook, MySpace or Friendster. Weddings have become public planning ventures. Many couples use blogs & social websites as means of communication.

Creative wedding- Many couples opt for uniqueness or creativity when it comes to their special day. But of course, who wouldn’t want an extra-ordinary wedding?

Here are some hints of creativity:

-Documentary style of wedding coverage

-Fashion editorial style of wedding photography

-Return of retro fashion (brides in birdcage veils & pin up hair with vintage jackets or hairpiece, antique rings/jewelry, grooms in zoot or disco-inspired suits)

-Astounding designs of Vera Wang who is an icon fashion designer when it comes to wedding gowns

-The trend on the so-called “trash the dress” wedding photography, where after the ceremony the bride wears her gown for the last time & agrees to take photos whether in a dirty mud, alley or mossy lake just to have something unconventional or creative on their wedding album

-Themed weddings where couples infuse their personality into their wedding design, look, or ambiance.

Green wedding- As Americans support the environment by using organic foods, recycled papers, etc. they also go for eco-friendly invitations, garden weddings, & bio-friendly wedding gowns made of 100% silk & cotton. A heart-shaped small bamboo potted plant & seed cards are samples of unique & creative wedding souvenir for guests. It shows both your exceptional taste and your support for the environment.

Renting the look- Brides can now enjoy luxurious, designer labels at sites like bagborroworsteal.com where they can rent a $2,600 pair of Vera Wang diamond & pearl-studded earrings at an affordable price.

Glamorous wedding- Brides desire about 2-3 wardrobe changes like a celebrity. They would change from their elegant wedding gown & classic hairdo to their sexy outfit & relaxed hairdo just in time for the dance floor. As fabulous as it gets, many couples want the “Marie Antoinette” wedding reception, the one fit for royalty. If you can afford lush floral centerpieces, hand- painted invitations, spacious, elegant banquet hall with intricate design & rich glided colors, exceptional or diverse cuisine with extravagant dessert displays, why not?

Useful souvenirs- Regardless of the budget, many couples opt for uniqueness even when it comes to souvenirs. It’s less likely to see the traditional miniature wedding bells for keepsake. Souvenirs varies from potted plants, seed packets, miniature jars of honey or fruit preserves, personalized tea bags, delicious desserts with recipe cards, other perishable goods, or anything useful to the guests with a hint of creativity.

Daring destination weddings- the destination wedding trend will continue to evolve as new spots emerge. Whether from Hawaii, Napa Valley,Bahamas or what have you, couples definitely want a wedding to remember!

As creativity is a new word in weddings, couples dare to be different. RonskiGFX is an innovative company which offers a wide range of creative services including wedding photography. Creativity is our passion. We do not settle for the usual or the ordinary. Brad Pitt, Outstanding Actor – A Short Biography

Filed under: Story — admin @ 6:53 pm

Born William Bradley Pitt, 8 December 1963, Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA

Raised in Springfield, Missouri but born in Oklahoma. His mother is named Jane Etta Hillhouse and his father, William (Bill) Pitt, worked in management at a Springfield trucking firm. He has two siblings, a younger brother, Douglas (Doug) Pitt and a younger sister Julie Neal Pitt.

Pitt attended Kickapoo High School where he was involved in sports, debating, student government and school musicals. He also posed for a campus calendar. He went on to the University of Missouri, where he majored in journalism. He also occasionally acted in fraternity shows. He missed graduation by two credits and moved to California.

In California Pitt supported himself by driving strippers in limos, dressing as a giant chicken while working for “el Pollo Loco” and moving refrigerators. Success in acting came later. His first starring role was in “The Dark Side of The Sun” released in 1997.

He played a young American taken by his family to the Adriatic Sea in search of a cure for a rare skin disease. The movie was shot in pre-war Yugoslavia during the summer of 1988. Editing was near to completion when civil war broke out in the region and much of the footage was lost. It was seven whole years before the lost footage was found and returned to Andjelo Arandjelovic a producer working on a distribution deal. Pitt’s earnings? $1,523 per week for seven weeks.

He met Juliette Lewis on the set of “Too Young to Die?” while making the TV drama together in 1990. They dated and they also did Kalifornia together in 1993. He played the role of J.D. in “Thelma & Louise” (1991). Another movie he starred in was “Across The Tracks” with Rick Schroder and Carrie Snodgrass. Pitt was also listed as one of twelve “Promising New Actors of 1991″ in John Willis’ Screen World, Vol. 43.

In the 1992 movie “A River Runs Through It” he had to learn to fly. He practiced on top of buildings in Hollywood often hooking himself from the back of his head. He also shared a home in Southern California in 1992 with friend Buck Simmonds, who starred with him in “A River Runs Through It”

In 1994, after making “Legends of The Fall”, he was given the title “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine.

In 1995 Empire magazine voted him number twenty-three of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history. Also in 1995 he turned down a role as an astronaut in Apollo 13 to accept his role in Se7en. In 1997 he was ranked number 32 in Empire magazine’s “The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time”. He was also voted “Best Actor” by MTV viewers in 1995 for his part in MTV’s “The Big Picture” (1988).

1996 was an eventful year for Pitt culminating in his engagement to Gwyneth Paltrow on December 20. He was also chosen as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by “People” magazine and he gave $100,000 to the Discovery Center, a museum of learning for children in his hometown Sprinfield MO.

In 1996 he purchased a mansion in Southern California for a reported $1.7 million. It is full of antiques and has a “vampirish” look to it.

The Chinese authorities banned Pitt from entering China in 1997 because of his role in the film “Seven Years In Tibet”. He and Gwyneth Paltrow mutually agreed to split in June 1997.

He married Jennifer Aniston in 2000 and spent $1 million on their wedding. In 2001 he sued Damiani International who created the wedding ring he gave Jennifer Aniston. He claimed that it was his design and therefore exclusive to him. The company, however, had decided to cash in by selling replicas, indicating endorsement by Pitt and Aniston.

The pair claimed the company agreed to never reproduce their wedding rings, but it manufactured and sold “Brad and Jennifer” rings in 18 karat white or yellow gold, featuring either 12 or 13 diamonds and costing about $1,000 apiece.

He and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston reached a settlement with Damiani International in early 2002. Under the settlement, Pitt will now design jewelry for Damiani that Aniston will model in ads, and Damiani will stop selling the Pitt and Aniston copies.

He was the spokesman for Edwin Jeans ads in Japan. He was also the face of ads for a new Japanese canned coffee named Roots. He did a TV commercial for Toyota Altis that aired only in Asia. The car became very popular and its sales resulted in Toyota getting an almost 32% share of the passenger car market.

During the production of Troy in 2003 in which he plays Achilles he tore his Achilles tendon. The injury caused the production of Ocean’s Twelve to be pushed back to April 2004. “Troy” was also released in 2004.

January, 2005 he announced the separation from his wife Jennifer Aniston after 4 1/2 years of marriage. They were finally divorced in October 2006. He and Angelina Jolie are now an item.

He had his first child with Angelia Jolie in May, 2006. Her name is Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. March 2007 – he and girlfriend Angelina Jolie adopted a 3-year-old boy named Pax Thien from Vietnam (born November 29th 2003). Pitt is also the adoptive father of Jolie’s children Maddox and Zahara. He moved to New Orleans with Jolie and their four children in 2007.

Donated 5 million dollars of his own money to rebuild homes in Katrina-ravaged New Orleans. He is a Patron of the Mineseeker Foundation and the Sole of Africa, a campaign dedicated to detecting and removing land mines in Africa. The Foundation’s patrons include Nelson Mandela, Sir Richard Branson, Queen Noor, Graca Machel and John Paul de Joria.

In 2008 he ranked number ten in the “2008 Forbes The Celebrity 100″ list. His girlfriend, Angelina Jolie, ranked number three. On July 12th 2008, his long-time girlfriend Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins – a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline. Truly an outstanding actor who can WOW audiences in whatever role he decides to perform.
